Burton & Winkton Parish Council is a small parish council with only ten members.
Parish Councillors are not paid and volunteer their time to serve their local community. Members share responsibility for all aspects of the council’s work.
Interested parties wishing to be considered for co-option should submit a summary cv together with a letter of application to The Clerk, Burton & Winkton Parish Council, The Community Centre, Sandy Plot, Burton, Dorset BH23 7HN or by email: burton@dorset-aptc.gov.uk
To qualify you must be
- a British Subject/Commonwealth citizen,
- over the age of 18
- an elector of the Parish or;
- in the past 12 months have occupied (as owner or tenant) land or other premises in the Parish or;
- Work in the Parish (as your principal place of work) or;
- live within three miles of the Parish boundary.
